What size gutter do I need?
Most Baton Rouge homes do fine on 5-inch seamless K-style, but a steep roof, a large roof plane, or a valley that dumps into one corner often calls for 6-inch. We size it off your actual roof area and pitch rather than defaulting to whatever is on the truck.
What does “seamless” actually mean?
The gutter is formed in one continuous run for each side of the house instead of being pieced together from sections. Fewer joints means fewer places for a seal to fail, which is where most gutter leaks start.
Do you install gutter guards?
Yes, and we will tell you honestly whether they are worth it for your house. Under heavy oak or pine they usually pay for themselves. On a clear lot they often do not.
Can you match the gutters to my roof or trim?
Yes. We can match color to the fascia, the trim, or the roof, and for architectural work we can fabricate in copper to match other metal details on the house.
Do you repair fascia at the same time?
Often we have to. If gutters have been overflowing for a while, the fascia board behind them is usually soft. We will show you what we find before we do anything about it.
